Night Sky Telescope Experience
Experience the Wonders of the Universe Under the Dark Skies of Sequoia National Park
Experience the wonders of the universe under the dark skies of Sequoia National Park with Jeremy Evans, an experienced amateur astronomer and long-time Sequoia Parks Conservancy partner. Jeremy has inspired thousands of visitors through more than a decade of participation in the annual Dark Sky Festival, and now you can join him for an intimate stargazing adventure.
During this two-hour program, participants will explore the night sky through two different telescopes. One provides traditional views through an eyepiece, while the other uses Electronically Assisted Astronomy (EAA) technology to reveal galaxies, nebulae, and star clusters in vivid detail on an iPad screen.
Depending on the season, you may also see planets and other deep sky objects not visible to the naked eye.
